Europe’s premier annual event for shaping the planning, preparation and execution of Personnel Recovery operations

As ongoing operations in Afghanistan and Iraq continue to regularly test the Personnel Recovery (PR) capabilities of coalition forces, national governments and international bodies are stepping up interest and investment in this critical mission area. PR operations increasingly demand closer cooperation with coalition partners on capabilities, training, doctrine and assets. Crucially, national and international military agencies across the globe are asking:

  • Where are the biggest capability gaps and how can we plug these?
  • What can be learned from current deployed operations and recent PR exercises?
  • How can we better utilise resources and increase coalition interoperability?

In announcing the 5th annual Joint Personnel Recovery conference, Defence IQ is building on its strong history of bringing together the key players in the PR/CSAR community to assess how training needs can be met, how resources can be maximised and how operations can be executed to the highest possible standard.
